Movie Pass, AMC A-List, and other subscription services

Do you have subscriptions for MoviePass or the recently introduced AMC A-List programs? For those unaware, those are subscriptions that let you go to the movie theater and see any movie, as much as you want (with limits specific to each program), for a flat monthly fee rather than paying per ticket.

I got MoviePass soon after it launched this past fall, and used it quite a bit, but now that I'm in a town that only has one theater and it's an AMC, I'm thinking I'll switch to AMC A-List. Being able to re-watch movies is also an appealing feature, which MoviePass doesn't allow.

I thought about it, but I don't think I go to the movies enough to justify paying for it. I just netflix all day. :p

I thought the same at first, but when you pay for it and know you have to go see at least two movies to make it worth the price (or three with the AMC subscription), it forces you to go and it's nice to have seen some of the new movies as they come out and not wait till they come on DVD/Netflix.

I have a Cineworld Unlimited Card.
Basically, for £240, I can see as many movies as I want in a year. (Or £17 a month).

As part of my job, I get perks. One perk is instead only having to pay £140. I bought it this month. I have been like 6 times already. I love it.

Movie Pass is a great idea, but for the theater I go to you have to reserve seats, so with that in mind... You basically have to go to the theater to use this and then there are no seats left. As much as I like the idea, it doesn't work for me. xD I've heard of a service similar but for like imax movies and etc, but it is so expensive and I have to download a different APP or something for it... In the end I much rather just go ahead spending a fortune. xD

I don't remember the name, but I think it was Moviepass that prevented people from seeing Mission Impossible. People seem to think it'll disappear soon. I hope my Unlimited doesn't go. I love it. Been to see 11 movies in the past month since I bought it.

None of the movie theaters in my town offer this, but I have seen those types of memberships when I go to the movies elsewhere. I’m always like: why can’t I have that where I live? Oh well, I only go to the movies like once a month (or less).
