Michigan Live: Bob Seger announces final tour with one last concert in Michigan

Bob Seger is about to head out on the road again for the final time with one last tour concert in Michigan.

The living legend had to postpone his tour last October to have back surgery. Now he's ready to perform again and go on one last concert tour.

The first show for Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band's "The Traveling' Man Tour" will be at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. This will be the final tour concert Seger will ever perform in his home state. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 28 at 10am.

The tour also includes all 16 concerts he had to postpone last year along with new shows. Along with Grand Rapids, those new concerts will be in Cleveland, Toledo, Louisville, Nashville, Ft. Wayne, Buffalo and Peoria. Seger will announce more new shows in the coming weeks in Las Vegas, Fresno, San Diego, Vancouver and more.

Bob Seger fan club members will have special access to purchase tickets in advance of the scheduled on-sale dates. People can become a member on Seger's website.

The Detroit native released what could be his final album, "I Knew You When," on November 17, 2017. It's his 18th studio album.

Seger performed four concerts in Michigan on this tour in 2017 in Saginaw, Grand Rapids. Clarkston and Auburn Hills. The Auburn Hills concert was the final show in the history of The Palace on September 23, 2017.
